Agri-Service's PTx Team: Your Partners in Precision Agriculture
Precision agriculture is the future of farming, and at Agri-Service, we're committed to bringing cutting-edge technology and expertise to our customers. To help farmers optimize efficiency and maximize their operations, we've assembled a skilled team of PTx Product Specialists. These professionals bring a wealth of experience, passion for technology, and deep-rooted agricultural backgrounds to support our customers across Idaho and Washington.
Ryan Hermann – Leading Agri-Service's PTx Team into the Future
With over two decades of experience in precision agriculture, Ryan Hermann brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Agri-Service as the Sales Operations Manager. Though he's been in this role for a year and a half, his connection to the company dates back much further. Agri-Service acquired Blue Mountain Ag, the family business where Ryan spent much of his career.
Despite growing up in agriculture, Ryan initially wasn't sure he wanted to follow the family path. However, a job at 15 turned into a lifelong passion. Over the years, he transitioned from mechanic work to mastering precision ag technology, teaching himself the ins and outs of emerging innovations. Today, he leads the PTx team, focusing on finding real-world solutions that help farmers improve efficiency and reduce costs.
One of Ryan's favorite advancements in precision ag is Symphony Vision, an AI-driven camera system designed to enhance precision spraying. He sees this technology as a game-changer, allowing farmers to apply herbicides more accurately and reduce waste.
Outside work, Ryan enjoys cheering on the Gonzaga Bulldogs—sometimes even traveling to Vegas for games. When he's not watching basketball, he's gearing up for a new role: coaching his son's T-ball team. With nearly nine years of marriage and a busy five-year-old at home, Ryan balances his passion for agriculture with a love for family and sports.

Addison Schagel – PTx Product Specialist, Heyburn, ID
Addison Schagel has been with Agri-Service for three years, initially starting in the parts department before transitioning to his current role as a Product Specialist. His introduction to agriculture began at 13 when he started moving irrigation pipes. He later worked on a farm in Oakley, ID, throughout high school before briefly stepping away. In 2019, he returned to farming and eventually found his way to Agri-Service.
What excites Addison most about precision farming is the rapid advancement of technology. He enjoys seeing new innovations each year and how they continue to improve farm operations. His favorite PTx product? Planters—because they remind him of building with Legos, allowing for customization to fit each farmer's needs.
Originally from Arizona, Addison grew up in Germany before settling in Oakley. He and his wife, Kaydee, have been married for three years and have two young sons, Bayler (16 months) and Caysen (4 months). They also have two dogs, a German Shepherd, Nigel, and a Pit Bull, Qi'ra. When he's not working, Addison enjoys golfing.

Donnie Tebow – PTx Product Specialist, Moses Lake, WA
Donnie Tebow started as a Product Specialist with Agri-Service in November of 2024, bringing a strong technical background to the team. He previously worked for a competitive equipment brand for six years, starting as a shop technician before advancing to field technician and later specializing in potato and hay equipment. His expertise in precision agriculture began with GPS technology, fueling his passion for the field.
Growing up on a family farm in Moses Lake, Donnie has always been deeply connected to the agricultural community. He believes technology is the future of farming and enjoys working with the latest advancements. His favorite PTx product is the GFX series of displays, which he appreciates for their cutting-edge capabilities.
When he's not helping customers integrate precision technology into their operations, Donnie spends time with his three daughters (ages 16, 15, and 8) and two huskies. He also enjoys dirt biking, snowboarding, wake surfing, shooting, and mountain biking.

Ryan Payne – PTx Product Specialist, Sugar City, ID
Ryan Payne joined Agri-Service as a PTx Product Specialist in early 2025 and is based in Sugar City, ID. Before this, he worked as a territory manager for Staheli West. When he got the opportunity to travel less while remaining in the ag industry with Agri-Service, he made the switch.
His journey in agriculture started when he ran equipment for a large custom hay operation. He's passionate about precision farming, especially advancements in automation, drones, and self-driving tractors. His favorite PTx product is Trimble auto guidance, which he values for its application efficiency.
Originally from Homedale, ID, Ryan enjoys tactical and night vision shooting in his free time.

Thomas Armstrong – PTx Product Specialist, Pasco, WA
Thomas Armstrong joined Agri-Service as a Product Specialist in 2024, bringing with him a degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology. Before joining the team, Thomas worked in manufacturing at Spudnik and with a dairy feedlot equipment company. He was drawn to Agri-Service for the hands-on nature of the job, which keeps him engaged with the latest technology and in the field rather than behind a desk.
Although he didn't grow up on a farm, Thomas spent time working in cherry and apple orchards in Chelan, WA, before discovering large-scale farming in college. His favorite aspect of precision farming technology is how the ag industry leads in technological advancements. His go-to PTx product? The basics of Precision Planting, such as DeltaForce and vDrive, which provide significant improvements with a relatively small investment.
Thomas enjoys the outdoors outside work—backpacking, hiking, camping, hunting, shooting, and fishing. He lives with his wife, their two-year-old son, and a loyal hound dog.
